Listen when someone states a limit, including how they want to communicate.

Do not ridicule sexuality, religion, fraternity affiliation, personal beliefs, identity, or background.

Give new people time to acclimate. Not everyone jokes or communicates the same way.

Safety concerns and uncomfortable interactions deserve a confidential path to review.
